How I Started:
In highschool I did basic stuff, squats, bench press, running and liked what it did to my body. Anyway I met a guy who was abusive started eating for comfort got up to 210 pounds. Got back down to 127 got into 2 major car accidents (I was a passenger). I got hurt and depressed and ate my way back to 186. I started watching my diet and working out again and have learned my lesson. Health is much more important than food. And, I can handle lifes issues so much better if I have my fitness and diet in line!!
Why I Love It:
I love the way my body feels and looks. I love feeling strong and feeling tight after a good weight lifting bout. I love to sweat and work hard.
How I Stay Motivated:
Well that is a hard one. A combination of how I feel and if I don't my back gets really stiff from my injuries.
BB Accomplishments:
I think the biggest accomplishment is losing 54 pounds so far.
Next year will be entering my first comp, more than likely will be Tampa Bay Classic.

Your progress is very inspiring Michelle. Congrats. My wife is from Tampa (me-Orlando). I have to admit I don't miss FL as a place to live. Love it here in NC. Good luck staying on track with diet/exercise. :-)
