How I Started:
I hired a personal trainer and she introduced me to lifting. I will never do only cardio again!
Why I Love It:
I don't love it yet but I do feel crummy when I don't work out.
How I Stay Motivated:
I'm not always as motivated as I would like but I do make an extra effort to go to the gym on the days I don't feel like it. I feel those are the days that will break you if you don't go.
BB Accomplishments:
I feel 100% confident using the free weights!

mazdaohiochanged Weight from 224.6 lbs. to 223 lbs., a 1.6 lb. loss in 6 days
This was before I decided to become serious about making a change in my life. I knew I needed a change but I wasn't ready to put in the hard work and make it happen.
The tiniest measure of progress. I can't wait for my calves to do that without flexing.
My goal is two part: first I would like to lose 75 lbs. I currently attend weight watchers meeting help me with my goal. I also workout at 4-5 days a week of which 3 days include lifting. After I achieve my weight loss goal, I would like to transform my body.
I've been inactive for years and if CT can say that she was not atlethic in her youth but still looks shredded as all hell then I can make it happen too.
I guess it's a good sign that I haven't given up by now. Usually, I expect to be down 15lbs and totally on my way to perfection even if I've only be on a plan for 3 or 4 days.
I can be very unreasonable at times but I have a feeling things are different this time around. I'm willing to see...
