!!!Addicting!!! I can't wait to compete again! The show was put together so well! SSG Kelly Dean is the woman responsible for making it all happen. She put so much effort into this for the Soldiers. She wanted to really make this an event for all the Soldiers to remember and believe me, we all will! Kelly did the whole 9! She ordered these beatiful trophys for the 1st place winners and she asked Bodybuilding.com to help sponsor...I mean it was wonderful...It was like the real thing from what she told me. Kelly is a figure competitor, so she knew what she was doing. She helped me with my posing and took my progress pictures throughout my training, along with my weight and body fat. She was like my coach. I know I wouldn't have done this if it wasn't for all her efforts. I put my all into training for that competition. I was very focused and determined. I was going into the competition with the mentality of just getting my butt on that stage and getting over the little bit of nervous jitters I had by showing people what I have worked so hard for. I set very high goals for myself. When there is something I want to do, I set my mind to it and give it all I have or nothing at all; there is never any in between. Competing in Iraq for my very first time was an experience I won't forget. I loved it and I believe I can use this as the start of a new passion I have love for. I plan on competing again in Hawaii before I PCS in July 2009. I LOVE IT!!! |
