How I Started:
I was always skinny during my school years, but really never started putting on weight until college. It wasn't exactly the kind of weight I was wanting though (ie fat). I really started caring about my body back in 2005 and just jumped right into it. I bought all sorts of weights, benches, cardio equipment, etc. and outfitted two of the rooms in my house. But then, after a few weeks I got really bored and decided to join a gym and hire a trainer to help fix my diet and put me on a muscle gaining routine. After weeks of this, I just formed the habit of getting up at 4am every day to go work out for an hour or so. Mornings are the best for me.
Why I Love It:
Makes me feel great and reduces my stress level.
How I Stay Motivated:
The more results I see the better I can stay motivated. Plus, I remember how good I feel after the work out. Also, I try not to exceed 5 days per week otherwise I get burned out.
BB Accomplishments:
Lowering body fat from 29% to 21% and putting on muscle. It's still too high, but it's coming down. Ideally, I would like to be around 16%, but that's going to require alot more discipline with my diet. I've tried using a couple of different trainers, but at the end I like working out on my own or with a gym friend.
hey! thats great that your changing up the routine! I am still good with my routine not bored yet :) Im doing well...trying to add more food to my diet and its not easy for me cuz i skipped meals all the time for most of my life....but im doing it! Thanks and good luck!
