When I Started:
Oct, 2007
How I Started:
I started with only a vague idea of what to do and how to do it. i just made a list of machines that i used and made a rough plan. I lost about 4 pounds working out which is a negative for me. I needed to eat more and add a supliment. My work out plan is better now but still not perfect, though i am seeing some results finally
Why I Love It:
a nice time to relax and listen to a little music, relieve stress, and really push my self.
How I Stay Motivated:
by looking in the mirror and the some what fear that in my prime i was never happy with my body
BB Accomplishments:
None really, though i am glad that i do not struggle much to stay motivated
been really slacking off lately and being out of town does not help. i need to get over my fear of being fat and take the proper amount of mass XXX. I know what i need to do , its just a matter of doing it... i need to puch my self thats probably 75% of my current issues
I hate to start a mail with "If I were you" ... but here goes. Stick with the basics. Big moves like squats, presses, curls and deadlifts. Do yourself a huge favor and get a trainor to show you the lifts and get you on a program. M+Fitness or Ironman has stuff for beginners. Dont worry about losing weight, its fat not muscle. Get some protien powder and bars and read everything you can about dieting. And have patience, it took me one full year to figure out what was working. Good luck
