I want to increase my muscle mass, get rid of the fat!!
Goal (Long):
I was 15 when I realized that some day I could be fat. I was 5'4" 140 lbs, not obese but overweight. I did not know how to “diet” so I started reading every nutrition book I could find, I made my mom sign me up for a gym and my lifestyle changed practically overnight. Over the years I have had 3 kids, hired personal trainers and continued my clean eating habits and have been able to maintain a healthy weight. I was fortunate that I found the willpower within me to make the changes necessary.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to accept that this is the best I can be. I know I can look a thousand times better. I am comfortable with my body and happy with my weight but now that I am through having kids, I want to build muscle and take my body to the next level.
You are quite welcome. Thanks in return for accepting my friend invite. Good luck to you in accomplishing all your health and fitness goals. Enjoy your week.
Hey Mary! I too am sooooo looking forward to my 40th B-Day. It really is the 'new 20' but Better. U'll make all the changes you desire as ur body now "behaves". U got a year headstart on me, but I'll see you at the 40-Finish (start) Line. Have a great Day! *smile*
mainly diet. I only do exercises that move my abs about 6 inches to keep them contracting at all times. Cable Crunches, Low pulley ball crunches, decline ab, leg lifts. Pretty much works for me and I do russian twists also for my obliques.
Hey Maribel sorry I was so gruff a couple weeks ago! Things were a little tense then but are better. How are you doing? Hope your having a great week. Rob
Hey Mary! Here is the link to look it all up: www.nasm.org. It takes 4 months and there are various aspects that are on line, as well as a seminar and text books. Thanks for the interest!
