Background
When I Started: Sep 1999
HOW I STARTED:
When I was in Highschool, there was this one kid that everyone always talked about. To be a teenager, this guy had an amazing body. So when I decided to go to college, I thought to myself that I wanted to be that type of person, the type that people talk about.
WHY I LOVE IT:
I love the challenge of pushing myself beyond my limits in order to try to achieve something new, something better.

I've been having a hard time staying motivated. I work long hours and sometimes all I want to do is go home. As of late, my sister has been doing an amazing job of changing her body, that is my new motivation AND I surf to BodySpace during my lunch break to see some of the pics and remind myself that I can achieve that, too.

I was so proud of myself that I actually competed, but in the end, it was a bit of a shock to place last (and not even get a medal...). The competitor who placed 5th in my class beat me by 1 point in each category which stung a little bit because he was kind of a jerk AND I wanted to at least come home with a medal. Training While Sick!

And for the millions of other who are missing out, just know that Markito loves you, too. Second, I got really nervous this morning because I can feel the beginnings of a head cold coming on and I'm VERY uninterested in getting sick because the show is 5 weeks away and I have a lot of work to do in terms of cardio and dieting. Thanks Markito! My goals are coming along. Dropping inches, but the scale hasn't been moving. I know that is still a good thing, but I am also working on making that scale move :) How are you doing?

sounds like you got a solid plan going! PLus you got a training partner, which is huge! Best of luck with the rest of the year! I will keep you posted on my progress and you do the same! I hope to put up progress pics once I reach 170lbs!

THank you so much! I still need to get rid of 20 pounds of fat in the belly area. I CAN DO IT!!! IT's going to get done. I am to the point getting tired of holding this disgusting fat and it's time for it to leave now!!!
