How I Started:
Started foolin around with free weights when in Jr. High doing some of Dads work outs on the back porch, and never got far due to my late growth, but after finally reaching manhood in the Marines started utilizing the Base gyms, and working out with several fellow Marines, and have made it a true daily lifestyle ever since. Theres no such thing as an off season in this lifesyle. You just live it everyday.
Why I Love It:
Energy levels always peak, Physical appearence peak, athletic ability peak, and always having a constant positive mental attitude.
How I Stay Motivated:
Foward progress, complements, magazines, and just always feeling great with sickness being slim to never.
BB Accomplishments:
Gained lean muscle mass, all natural with only protein as a food supplement between meals while at work, and time for cooking real food is limited.
Reach best natural weight and strength hopefully 195-200lbs.
Goal (Long):
Gaining weight has always been a battle for me as far a putting on lean muscle. I know that with the help of many supplements faster gains can be attained such as with creatine, and of course steriods. But I believe with these supplements the growth is to speedy for your tendons, ligaments, and supportive joint tissues to keep up with the strength your muscles gain, which leads higher risk of injury and many pains down the road do to overload. From what I've gathered over the years my idea is that all though it'll take much longer to gain the the amount of muscle I want, if done with continued training and nutrition. Eating the right foods at the right time. These goals can be acheived and easily maintained. I've now prioritized legs as the most important exercise in my schedule, and with that believe I'll reach my goal of 195-200lbs naturally with the assistance of protien shakes as well as glutamine. I didn't come up with this myself but I love it, and it's so true. "Obsession is a word the lazy use to describe the dedicated"
