How I Started: I joined the gym as my New Year's Resolution in 2006 but actually stuck with it. After my free session with a gym trainer, I was curious about proper weight training and nutrition. It all was a downward spiral from there...
Why I Love It: I love it when someone tells me I inspire them to compete, or to train, or to stick to their diet. I love knowing my hard work is not only making me better and healthier, but those around me as well.
How I Stay Motivated: Competing in figure and trying to break into fitness modeling. It's becoming a more and more popular sport so to do well I just have to want it MORE!
BB Accomplishments: Placing in all of my first three figure shows.

my real before picture 4 weeks out - right side
this was about a week after i joined the gym almost 2 years ago...today i weigh about the same but i'm down from a size 8 to a 4! i was what you would call "skinny fat"  4 weeks out - right side need a lot more twist in my waist here, the judges will never see my washboard posing like this! but legs look niiiice

Goal (Long): Lately, my goals have become more and more random. I started bodybuilding to prove that I could do it. Now I want to see what else I can do. I want to do a sprint triathalon next summer. I want to try MMA. I want to do a powerlifting meet this December. Above all, I want to find a way to make fitness my CAREER since it is already my LIFE!

deadlifting and squatting -- so easy to wreck your back.

bench -- seen many people end up with bad pec or delt tears from this exercise, stick to dumbbells!

That’s the best time, nobody is there and you can jump on anything you want without having to wait an hour for somebody to finish their conversation!! Did you grow up in Newport News or just took a job out there? I am originally from Chesapeake and re-enlisted to come to Eustis to be closer to my family/friends
