I joined the gym as my New Year's Resolution in 2006 but actually stuck with it. After my free session with a gym trainer, I was curious about proper weight training and nutrition. It all was a downward spiral from there...
Why I Love It:
I love it when someone tells me I inspire them to compete, or to train, or to stick to their diet. I love knowing my hard work is not only making me better and healthier, but those around me as well.
How I Stay Motivated:
Competing in figure and trying to break into fitness modeling. It's becoming a more and more popular sport so to do well I just have to want it MORE!
BB Accomplishments:
Placing in all of my first three figure shows.

this was about a week after i joined the gym almost 2 years ago...today i weigh about the same but i'm down from a size 8 to a 4! i was what you would call "skinny fat"

Lately, my goals have become more and more random. I started bodybuilding to prove that I could do it. Now I want to see what else I can do. I want to do a sprint triathalon next summer. I want to try MMA. I want to do a powerlifting meet this December. Above all, I want to find a way to make fitness my CAREER since it is already my LIFE!

i've cut 20g of carbs out, added some glucosamine for the beating i'm putting on my knees. i'm doing 4 sessions of hill sprints a week and 4 low-intensity cardio session (bike rides and runs outdoors mostly). i do abs on...
thanks for giving me the advice re the fats and PB...great idea! it is the first time to do this so I am on a bit of learning curve with how my body will respond....appreicate your thoughts a lot..Belinda
I just saw that yeah u look great. so like 4.5 weeks out now huh? I am trying a show in late oct/ november. doing a precut right now so I can do a clean bulk for the remainder of the summer.

haha! i hear ya. i'm doing my second show on the 28th of june and i'll probably do another sometime in november. after this june show, i need a break and maybe to bulk a little bit. not sure yet. well, good luck in your shows girl-- let me know how ya do! :)
That’s the best time, nobody is there and you can jump on anything you want without having to wait an hour for somebody to finish their conversation!! Did you grow up in Newport News or just took a job out there? I am originally from Chesapeake and re-enlisted to come to Eustis to be closer to my family/friends
