Wow, I can't believe how fast time has passed. It is time to get going again on my fitness goals. After working hard early in 2008, I have slacked off a little. My disordered eating habits returned and I dropped weight. I recently has to move across the country and the people I am living with...
I lift four to five times per week doing a push/pull split. I also do cardio (HIIT) five to six times per week for 45 minutes. My trainer is trying to get me to back of the cardio but I have to admit that I am a little addicted!
Thx for your message...you do not need to decide between endurance and weight training...I wake up, eat fruit go running for one hour in the forest, eat oatmeal and do my weight training. I am doing this for a couple of weeks and it works for me, maybe this is helpful for you...Michael
Hey Margo! Thx for the add and sweet comment...I saw your latest progression pic is from last year and after reading your profile I am very curious how your training is going...Michael :-)
Well thanks for adding me. Actually I am at the same level as you I am going threw the book and study guide now. My weekend workshop is the 13th of December. I am very nervous I want to take the exam by January. Maybe we can stay in touch and review back and fourth to help each other prepare. Good luck and happy Thanksgiving.
Well, that's why I post them, so I love hearing that they are inspirational for you! My main tip would be to work with a reputable trainer that knows what the heck they are doing when it comes to contest prep!
Seattle is a great area, I know there are lots of competitors in the area. My b/f (jphillips17) actually trains a girl in Seattle via online training and she has made an incredible transformation since April. I can show you her pics...she is going to win a show next year! The right diet is going to be key for you in putting on good muscle
:D wow your arms=amazing! I aspire to have arms like that! wow!:) My diet is pretty lean, mostly lean meats, veggies and the whole grains. For my ab routine, I do hanging leg liftss with weight and weighted crunches:)
