Great job on the 10k!! One more goal to meet. I no doubt you will do it. I was signing up for Boston on 11-16 when the website said registration was closed. I need to qualify again and I will. Good luck and stay focused.

I read your blog and I admire your goals. They are alot like mine. I have not signed up for Boston yet. I'm waiting to see when my shoulder will let me train to my max. I've been doing 3 mile runs in a sling for 2 weeks now (awkward) but it is something.I hope to finish Boston at around 3:30 or better.

Hey Pa Shoulder surgery this Wednesday. Right calf blew apart during marathon last Saturday had to settle with only 13.2 miles instead of 26.2. Staying focused may be tough but I'll try.Hope all is good with you!

I was able to find some motivation. Ran a H half marathon last weekend in 1:41:06. The course was a half mile to long. Everyones garmins were showing 13.60 or 13.67. Good run any way. This week I may have a 40 mile week. Never did that before. What have you been doing lately?

Congrats on Boston!!!! I qualified at the Cleveland marathon a couple weeks ago (3:30:12) Only my second marathon. The hard work does pay off.

Yes stop and let it heal!!!!! At our age (NOT THAT WE ARE OLD)working through injuries is asking for a huge setback. My shoulder is proof. Hav'nt lifted since March 8 and still in alot of pain. Atleast my legs work. Good luck and make the right decision.

Thanks Jim, It's been since March and my left shoulder still is in bad shape. I don't know when I will be able to lift again. Lift some for me!!
