How I Started:
I played several sports growing up, so I have always spent some time in the gym, running, etc.
Why I Love It:
Mainly, the stress relief. It's the best way to relax. I am not interested in becoming what one would consider a "real bodybuilder", but I do challenge myself each workout strenuously. I enjoy the adrenaline rush. Also, my wife and I work out together, so it is something we can enjoy together.
How I Stay Motivated:
My natural mindset is to be motivated. That is not a challenge.
BB Accomplishments:
My wife and I hired a personal trainer recently (David Moffitt @ Bally's-I highly recommend him). One of the things I used to do was lift the heaviest weight possible. He taught me that it is not the weight, but the quality of the lift. I used to feel pain in my joints as well as my muscles after working out. With lighter weight and better technique, I am getting more muscle gains and my joints are not aching. (Work smarter not harder).

I change foot placement depending on the exercise and my goal... for outer sweep development I keep my feet closer together, for heavy movements I usually am about shoulder width. i.e., for smith machine squat my feet are touching. Change it up...
