I just made up my mind that I would finally really get my body in the shape I want it to be in. That means leaner and muscular. I want to be able to shop for clothes and be happy with what I see in the mirror.
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel like I'm really doing something that will have a result. I like feeling muscle rather than flab. I feel a sense of accomplishment.
How I Stay Motivated:
I look at pictures of other women in my same height, weight and age range who have succeeded and look great.

I haven't done anything major yet. I want to be able to do pullups and chin ups and majorly define my thighs, behind and abs.

I saw this picture and realized how big I'd gotten below the waist. I decided to really attack my pooch and thighs. I have been researching approaches ever since.
I'm liking what I see. Still a little heavy on the hips but I feel like I'm building up the top to balance out the bottom.

Goal (Long):
My goal is to lose 2-3 lbs more and have body fat between 21-25%. I want to be able to see the difference in my lower half from photo to photo. I to see muscularity in my upper back, arms, abs and legs and to try to get rid of as much thigh and butt cellulite as I can.
I plan to do this by finding a clean eating diet I can stick with and doing about three to four times a week weight training along with cardio (treadmill, cycling,aerobic DVD's) for 30-45 minutes on the days I don't weight train. I am changing up the exercises as I go so I don't get bored. I may try the PS90x DVD's next. Also will be getting a chin up bar at some point.
Why I like this video: I like this video because it give pointers on how to do upper body exercise for the female. It helps that the demonstration is done by a fit female.

Hey everyone, I actually went shopping on Saturday and was able to find jeans and pants that fit without trying on every pair! I'm down from a size ten to a size 8. People at work are complimenting me and asking what I've done to lose it all.
I am now doing the 12 week video trainer with Kris Gethin which featured on bodybuilding.com I like these split workouts, but since I am trying to lose fat I will want to do some full body workouts, starting with 15-20 minutes of cardio on the stairmaster or elliptical at the gym. Then...
