Overall Goal: Team JP Fit!!! 1st place @ the Washington Ironman- October 2009 with the help of two great trainers (Jason Phillips and Catherine Holland)
Fit Status:
Can't wait for the E-cup next weekend!
I started working at a gym at the age of 15, and became very interested in figure comps. Then I dated a personal trainer who introduced me to some competitors and I got my personal training certification and want to continue competing and getting better at this sport.
Why I Love It:
It's my absolute most favorite thing to do. You never feel bad after a good workout and it definitely helps release stress!
How I Stay Motivated:
Motivation isn't something that anyone else but yourself controls...I continue to educate myself and set goals to stay motivated.
BB Accomplishments:
Competing in my first figure competition, the 2007 Oregon Ironman at the age of 18.

Goal (Long):
After competing on April 26th of 2008 in my second figure competition, I was diagnosed with severe hypothyroidism. I also fell and sprained both my ankles at the same time which also contributed to my weight gain. I completed the transformation challenge and took off a massive amount of fat but now it's time for the real changes. Watch as jphillips and holllandc help me transform until the 2009 Collegiate Nationals!
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 24 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
8%
Upcoming Contest:
2009 Oregon State Bodybuilding, Fitness and Figure Championships

Congrats on your competitions! I started dieting 2 weeks ago for the NW Championships. I am giving myself a lot of time to prepare. My husband is helping me train. Are you competing at all this year?
Oh wow are you from the west side? because that would suck if you weren't and you had to stay in Pullman year round.
Ohh so are you doing the Ironman? Its good that you are starting early because I personally think its better to slowly get into contest shape.
Me, well I don't think I will go on stage. I have been told that I had a great physique for bodybuilding but I know that I have some things to work on.I will be graduating in Fall 09' and I need to focus on my Navy SEAL training.
Happy Easter Mandy, I pray you had a blessed weekend or if not so spiritual atleast found alot of eggs in the hunt. Remember eggs is a great source of protein, LOL. Keep up all your hard work.
