I got started by training for a regional FAP show. It was time to stop with the excuses and just do it.
Why I Love It:
There's nothing like finishing a tough work out and raising the bar a little higher.
How I Stay Motivated:
By setting competition dates and setting other personal goals, it makes it easier to stay motivated. Eating clean is much harder for me.
BB Accomplishments:
This year I won the TX Fitness Expo and placed at a NPC national show!

Here I am around 110 lbs. I've always had an extra little pudge in the middle that I couldn't seem to get rid of. I had about 12 weeks to start dieting. But couldn't hit the gym until about 8 weeks out so my progress was slow at first.
I'm so excited. I just listened to my final mix and it sounds AWESOME! It's better than I had hoped for. Let's just hope the judges like it too. My biggest fear now is having the choreography not live up to the music. There's nothing worse than seeing something slapped together at...

Were you able to get to that link? Today's workout was just brutal and punishing. Its great how I dread my CF workouts because they are soooo hard! But at the end of it the feeling of accomplishment is immense. Gone are the days of beliving weight loss takes 30+ minutes on cardio machines!
