How I Started:
Always been somewhat muscular in high school. played aaa ice hockey as a goalie for 10 years and some mens rec hockey. some roller hockey too. I did some weight lifting in gr 12 for a sports program i was in, lifted on and off after then, and then oct of 2007, i started getting more serious, and have been lifting ever since.
Why I Love It:
love the way it makes me feel. love being strong and muscular, and part of a growing population of females who want to be big and strong, esp asians, because i don't think there are many of us?
How I Stay Motivated:
Watching youtube vids, lookin at other peoples progress pics, reading my comments and pm's, and of course motivation and support from my boyfriend.

This was in October when i started working out again. Was about 135lbs here. Did lots of cardio and lost 7lbs, now i'm bulking up :D
i think the abs are starting to come out slowly :D
trying a new diet/workout plan for gaining lean mass.
it's 4 weeks long. 3 day split and each week the exercises are changed slightly, so that my body doesn't get used to it. change is good! keeps my muscles growing. i can't wait to see the results in 4 weeks! :D
Manda! Thank you so much for the comment and encouragement! I've actually hit a plateau but I WILL overcome this. Thanks for the support! How's your training coming along? Are you done bulking up?
I used to be on muscle milk... until i realized that it had too much sugar in it (hence the great taste). I switched to a non-top market brand (you know... the hidden brands that don't really rely too much on hype marketing). It doesn't taste as good BUT it's more functional than muscle milk. If you want, you can look up Pro-Complete 40. It still tastes good but of course not as sweet as muscle milk but then again, who needs the fattening sugar right? :)
Thanks! It took me a while and I know I'm still not where I want to be. But I have patience. :) Hehe.. I'm having a lot of trouble with my lower abs and obliques. sigh... Hey, so what is Purple K? I'm still a little behind on my supplements. All I'm taking now are just a fat burner and whey protein.
for someone who's bulking up, you look pretty cut! hmmm... i was trying to cut up but decided to go back to bulking. I dunno... it's more fun and more intense I guess. Although I'm just talking about the workouts. I eat like I'm cutting but lift like I'm bulking. I wonder where that's going to lead me. LOL!
