When I Started:
1998
How I Started:
Since I was young I always had weights around the house, in the garage, and in my backyard. My father worked out and my grandfather was a bodybuilder and actually featured in some old muscle magazines. Ever since I first did a pull up on the street signs out front and lifted the weights in my garage bodybuilding found a place in my heart. Its in my blood.
Why I Love It:
Bodybuilding is a huge part of who I am. Its the whole idea of making myself better. I am in 100 percent total control of what I want and how I treat my body. Its much more than just lifting heavy weights and being a big guy. Its the whole lifestyle associated with bodybuilding. The discipline, the sacrifice, the work - its all so worth it when you achieve the results you wanted. The more I put in the more I will get out. its all about becoming who i am destined to be...it may sound selfish..but its all for me.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by staying hungry. Guys juice to try to look like what i look like naturally...keep trying suckas - take your mask off....
I want to prove to myself that I can reach any goals that I realistically set for myself. I have an image in my mind of what I want to look like and I know if I want it I can get it. I am all natural and I take alot of pride in that. I know it would be easier all around if I used steroids. Personally, I know I could compete with anyone if I did - but thats not what I believe in. I work with what God gave me and off my own drive and motivation, not chemicals. As long as I am always giving it 110 percent, busting my ass, and pushing myself as hard as I possibly can - well then I'm all good.
Current training split:
Mon- back
Tues- chest & shoulders
wed- legs
Thurs- arms
Frid- rest
Sat-rest
Sun-rest
I focus on the movement and the form. Form is the most important factor on getting the muscle to look exactly how you want it to. I go heavy as i can as long as i dont lose the form...
