Overall Goal: I want to gain about 10 more pounds of lean muscle so I can be a solid 215 pounds.
Fit Status:
I'm on a hardcore cut...have lost a ton of body fat - I really want a six pack
Motivation Level: 9/10

When I Started:
May, 2008
How I Started:
Started in grade 11 weightlifting class. Screwed around for a few years. Saw limited gains and improvements. Caught the lifting bug but didn't know how to properly use it to my advantage. Finally got serious this spring and have seen great gains since taking a personal trainer's course and doing some serious research.
Why I Love It:
There is nothing more exciting to me than hitting the gym each day and seeing the gains I've made. I love the atmosphere, being around people who share my passion and just working hard.
How I Stay Motivated:
I used to be 237 lbs. I never want to go back to being the fat kid who was afraid of going to the beach or hanging out with out a shirt on. Never again will I feel the way I did then.
BB Accomplishments:
Weight loss: 50 lbs (237 - 187) in summer of 2007. Thanks to P90X!
Deadlift: 400 lbs x 3

Quitters quit, and me, well I'm a hitter not a quitter.
Believe that.
100% heart. All day. Every day.
This was me at my absolute worst. Taken after my first year of university where I managed to make the freshman 15 into the freshman 50...237lbs of shame. I will never go back to this state.
This is me at 205 lbs.
Been on a pretty intense program since early June. Check it out in my workouts section (it was designed by Lee Haney).
He has the most inspirational story I have ever read. Seeing what he accomplished pushes me to do my best and never look back. I am honoured to have him on my buddy list.
Yesterday I was in the gym again for the second time since school officially got back in session. It was the busiest I have seen it in almost 8 months. Not to mention our school has opened its doors to the local Goodlife chain as they begin their major expansion at a new location. So not only...

No problem. Enjoy the city, it's alright to look like a tourist. You will find people knocking into you if your not moving but most people will help you out if you need it. If your there on a Friday check out Bryant Park on 42 & 5th or up by Rockefeller Plaza they usually have free concerts in the summer. One more thing, if you get a hot day, find a cool spot and the only sights you need are the girls walking by. Just one of many reasons why I miss NYC. Have fun!!
Daniel: Thank you so very much for those amazingly kind and complimentary words. I am both honoured while yet incredibly humbled to receive such a glowing comment. You are in such great shape and have achieved so much at such a young age, I believe that maybe it should be I sending you a similar message. I promise to keep working hard if you promise to continue being such a strong role model for the youth of today.
