How I Started:
I played sports growing up, but never really got into lifting until after high school... I slowly became more and more interested, and so I searched for reliable/helpful knowledge in that area... And continue to do so today!
Why I Love It:
It think it is so much fun! I love the competition, (constantly trying to beat my strength goals)... I enjoy lifting in general, and the results are just an extra benefit!
How I Stay Motivated:
Establishing goals and holding myself accountable... AND by analyzing my body on a daily basis.
BB Accomplishments:
I guess an accomplishment would be when I got down to 12% body fat, on my own (without any help), just good 'ole self-discipline... Not for competition and not for anyone else! I just wanted to see if I could do it I guess... *****Update:05/23/2008.... I broke my decline bench record.... I decline benched: 255 lbs....*****
This was taken when I was in my "once-a-week" workout stage. I was about 8 lbs heavier here, than I am currently. I knew I needed to get back into the gym and eating healthier. I finally joined OZ back in November 2007 and have been working out consistantly and eating healthier ever since.

Goal (Long):
I am not sure what my body fat %age currently is, because I do not have access to the resources in order to find that out accurately... But when I got down to 12% (had the resources to keep track and find out what it was)... In comparing my body now to than, I would guess that I am at about 16%... I would like to get down to at least 12% and then maintain between 12-14%!
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 7 lb

Congratulations! You should post a few pictures on here when you can. Mexico sounds like a blast! Does your hubby workout with you? It's so much easier when you're other half is on board. :) Keep up the good work!
Thanks! The wedding was a blast, and we went skiing near Gatlinburg, TN for the honeymoon. Planning can get stressful, but don't worry too much! Everything will work out fine in the end. To help my stress, I planned an early workout the morning of the wedding! Best wishes to you!
I have significantly less time to cut than you do -- I'm getting married at the end of February! I've been doing a leaning out program I found in Muscle & Fitness - high reps/low weight/supersets - basically hardcore circuit training. I've upped my cardio too; HIIT 4-5 times a week. It's crazy, but I'm hoping it'll payoff. Keep up the good work!
Won't lie, it's pretty slow. I've been fighting a wicked cold which has slowed down my training. Luckily it's bulking season so I have time to catch up. How 'bout you?
