How I Started:
A friend introduced me to powerlifting in High school. Life in general got in the way after high school and I didn't get back into lifting until 2002.
Why I Love It:
I like being tall and big. I like the way I look in the mirror now. Fairly well defined but monsterously huge. LOL! I like being confident and comfortable in my skin.
How I Stay Motivated:
Just remembering where I came from health wise keeps me going. Other people noticing the changes I have gone through. Helping others really keeps me going.
BB Accomplishments:
Lost 100 pounds of fat back in 2002 then put it all back on in the form of muscle over the next 4-5 years. I went from about 330 pounds and 35% bodyfat down to 330 pounds and 10-11% bodyfat.
Taken in Feb. 2002. That's me in the background. Face bloated with fat. Very unhappy with myself. I know I will never go back to that.
Just a side shot to show that the stomach is flat. Need a tan bad but I have one now so I need to go take some current pics. You can get an idea on how tall I am. Look just to the right of me. That is a standard door frame. LOL!
LOL! With my new workout split this last week I have one day dedicated to ab work. Well yesterday was that day. This morning when I woke up I had to use my arms to get out of bed. LOL! Abs were screaming "hell no we aren't doing anything today!" I guess we are all a bit sadistic....
I'm happy to say that I've been released from my "inactive" status and am back to resume my apparent, but unintentional, status as "trouble". Richard wrote and said he hid it b/c his boss complained about my breasts sticking out underneath my shirt pics. They really seem to pick on me a lot, I don't know why. I did an experiment and fashioned some of my pics after some girls whose pics are "worse" than mine. I get banned and they're still on the site w/ all pics in tact
BB.com put me on the "inactive" list but I don't know why. I didn't even post anything "bad". All my pics, thumbnails included, had been up for a long time or previously posted and nothing said about them or deleted (Richard checks my acct everyday for "inappropriate" pics). I had posted 2 black and white pics but they had been previously posted and he said nothing to me about them nor did he delete them when I had them posted prior. I wrote to him 2x but he hasn't/won't respond :(
Ahem...well thanks. But ANY wtd knee exercises continue to Kick my BUTT!!! Arrrgggghhhhh! I know...I know...TIME and consistency. Will allow just that! Thanks again.
thanks for the comment. you lost alot of weight also, but you are really tall for 225 pounds. i see you are now 312 pounds. how is your muscle gaining going?
Thanks. I know I can't work any harder. Just hope my 38 yr old body hangs in there for another 9 days. lol Thanks again for your support, it really does help the training.
