When I Started:
Apr, 2009
How I Started:
I've always been interested in my health and fitness because I believe we are blessed with one body therefore it should be a priority to keep it in tip-top shape.
Why I Love It:
I feel like I gain clarity when I work out-- I absolutely feel rejuvenated, energized and balanced.
How I Stay Motivated:
I am comfortable in my skin and when I am in the privacy of my home I prefer to wear little to no clothing so that I constantly see my body. There's nothing more motivating than seeing every inch of my skin and having the mentality that there's always room for improvement. Not to mention I'm in the Air Force and work in the fitness center, therefore I am constantly motivated by the regulars that faithfully come in to work out.

To surpass average and develop a phenomenal body ;] (gain muscle + lower my body fat %)
Goal (Long):
When I was younger I was always teased for being so skinny and having long limbs of just skin and bones. A few years ago I started to gain some weight and confidence in my body. Now I am completely confident in who I've become and I do love my body. However, I can be a perfectionist and although everyone else thinks my body is great I know that there is room for improvements. I want to gain 10 lbs of muscle as well as have much more tone and definition. I've always been thin and practically shapeless; I felt like I had a boyish figure. I guess I would be called a late bloomer because it has only been recently where I've realized my chest has grown slightly as well as my rear. I'm not the type of person to settle for looking "average." I want to transform my body to look like I've made the effort to get it to be phenomenal; I want a curvy and athletic body, but still look very feminine.
I believe my goals are realistic especially since I work in the fitness center and always have the chance to get into the gym. The only challenge I can foresee would be to consistently make wise choices with what I eat. It can be difficult since I live in the dorms on base and don't always have the opportunity to get into the kitchen and cook. I know I will have to make the effort to eat what will be beneficial for me.
But right now as I type this I've made the conscious decision to be dedicated and committed to reaching my goals by my birthday in August.
This won't be the first time where I've said that correcting my eating habits would be much more of a challenge than working out hard. Well lately I've been eating extremely clean that it's almost scary lol. My grocery list would make any health nut proud. And I'm almost surprised at...

Day 2: 30 min. steady cardio; chest, back
Day 3: 15 min. high intensity cardio (high incline treadmill or stair climber); legs, abs
