When I Started:
Jun, 2008
How I Started:
Since I am a sports fanatic especially into roller blading, I was never really flabby but I always knew that I needed a toned body.so, when my ex-girl friend started comparing me with the guys around her n told me that I m full of 'stuff', I knew that was the perfect opportunity for me to prove her wrong. She could have been a little more polite.but i guess, her challenge is what got me started! n i love every bit of it now.-all the compliments i get from friends and my coach who can c considerable change in my physique since the time I hv joined (June '08) and ofcourse the female attention.(i wonder what's gonna happen once I get 6packs! ;) ) o n btw my ex girl friend is full of 'stuff' now! lol
Why I Love It:
I know that my body loves the workout. My endurance level, stamina and immunity has improved n I love the fact that I am working towards my long term goal!
How I Stay Motivated:
I watch the intensity with which the ppl around me workout.that makes me feel that I can push myself even further! n when i c someone having a flab n surviving on junk food, that definitely motivates me to train hard!lol.n now that I am on BB.com, I feel even more motivated when I c so many like minded people working towards the same goal.I wish u all good luck!
BB Accomplishments:
well, I have just started workin out a couple of months back, so dont really have any accomplishments as such.but yeah!my waist has reduced from a 34'' to a 32''. lol not such a great accomplishment huh?!

Yeah pretty much. You gain mass when you rest, and your muscles rebuild themselves. Give your body the nutrients it needs to grow, exercise and microscopically tear the muscles, and then allow it the rest/time it needs to rebuild the damage and you'll grow!
no worries man, ty for yours. I haven't been training for quite awhile now... taking some time off. Still eating healthy though so I haven't gained much fat at all. How's your training?
I've never been painted before, but I have been scetched. So, is that what you do for a living? What do you charge? Got any exhibits? Sorry for the questions, but I'm somewhat of an artist myself, I can't help but be intrigued...
shouldn't take long prolly about 3 months of hard work.. Running, Strength training (compound movements) , and 'obviousely' ab workouts.. Good luck man they will come just train your heart out. Oh yeah and diet is a huge part of it as well. Low fat and carbs.. cals and protien moderate to high. Let me know if you need to know any more.
Haha thanks bro! It really comes down to diet if you want those abs to appear! Cardio and weight training is important but you can't burn off a junk food diet. PM me if you have specific questions.
1st thanks for the comp. i'm fasting this weekend and i do it every month for 2 or 3 days. if you get a chance read my blog. next week will start with upper body exer...have a great week, greg
He's not my guy. haha..hes my ex. He had a death in his family and I was just trying to be there for him, as a friend, but he has a nasty attitude towards me and still is angry at me for stuff that was done when we were together.
Believe me..I've had my share of cheat foods lately. lol. Although I have been very good at staying away from sugary drinks. Water and unsweetened tea have been my hydration.
I know what your saying. It's sometimes best to focus on yourself, as selfish as that may sound. I actually have a similar situation, except the guy can never say what he wants and really mean it.
Thank you for the words of encouragement. This is ust the part that really sucks. I know my mind is in the right place but keeping it there is the hard part. Thank you again for the awsome words. They really do help.
