Goal (Long):
I got good advice when I was younger. "Train your mind as much as your body". So I've pretty much done all the scholastic and professional stuff. Graduated from the big school, had the big job... Now I find myself in a situation where I can enjoy myself and my training, and not get all hung up on the things that really don't matter.
Training is slow this week. Coming back from being out a week. Danvers huh. I lived in Beverly near Independence Park. Prob moving back. Hubby wants to join an orthopedic practice in Danvers/Beverly. Would be prob in July.
So how was Salem? Always nuts. I've never gone...not sure I want to get messed up there. I lived in Beverly for a year and we may settle there...had a few stabbings that year. Always good to see the freaks...TTYL
Thank you so much Ray-I really appreciate your comment! I've been training hard & eating like a freak-it was time to see it pay off-LOL! Hope your training is going well :) Sounds like you hve your perspective & that's awesome.
Last one for awhile!!! Taking a long break to grow, grow, grow!! We did not have a fall in Missouri. How about you? We went from a mild summer to winter in about a week!!! I was just thinking about you and was getting ready to write you. Hope that your week is great and you have a safe, happy weekend!!! Terri
You always bring a smile to my face. I did win the womens open, but they did not award me a pro card as there were not 5 competitors. I will now go tear up the stage in Iowa on the 26th and after receiving my $$$$ I will reevaluate federations. You have a fantastic week.
I ran 5k today, as a test for next weekend. Doing a fun 5k in Wrenthem - it comes with breakfast at the end, so how bad can it be? I actually went running in the rain this morning. I swore a long time ago that I would never be a runner, but somehow here I am - a runner!
Ray, you always bring a smile to my face. Thanks again for all your wonderful comments and encouragement. It always means so much to me. I hope that the middle of your week finds you happy and troubles few!!
