My oldest brother was in the military and was very involved in the gym and weight lifting.
Why I Love It:
It gives me a sense of self that nothing else can. I get exactly what I put into it. Anything lacking is noone's fault but mine. It's a competition with myself.
How I Stay Motivated:
Knowing that every time I walk into the gym I am doing something soley for myself and my health. Seeing other women serious about fitness makes me want to get my butt in gear.
I'd like to drop a few pounds, gain more mucle...feel more confident about my body...day by day.
Goal (Long):
I want to create a healthier, stronger body to go through life in....one that I can feel confident about. I'd like to do a better job portraying on the outside who I am on the inside.........and I just want to tear up some weights.......lol anybody with me?
Working out is the important part, not logging in here!! Been taking it easy, tweaked the wrist about a week ago, it's not all back yet:( No bigge, can still hit legs and whatnot. -CK

I'm doing well, the weather in VA is pretty nice but the rain needs to stop sneaking in... Work outs are going well, hitting the gym 6x a week now with a new routine, so I'm sore all the time now (which is a good thing :-)) How was your weekend?
Lol...tell me about it! Engineering, travel from MI down to Peoria, IL....actually ended up down here again for the first half of this week! Oh well, can't complain..it's a good job. So yeah, don't know that I've been pickin' that slack here the past week:) Anxious to get back at it though!! -CK
Awww, that sucks! Takin' a bit of a break this week too...gone on work, gotta love this motel life?? The leaning up has been going great, love seeing all the new muscles I've worked on over the winter:) -CK
