Lift heavy, change it up, rest and repeat
I love lifting heavy weights - something is so empowering about it! I usually change up my routine every 3-6 weeks, to cater to my current goals and to keep my routines interesting and fresh. Currently I am doing workouts that are catered to building strength and form for olympic lifts, and also building loads and deloading.
Day 1 - Power cleans and Legs; 20 min cardio
Day 2 - 45-60 mins steady cardio
Day 3 - Push press, Bench press and Upper Body; 20 min cardio
Day 4/7 - Rest (or steady cardio session < 30 mins)
Day 5 - Overhead squats, Front Squats and Traps and Shoulders; 20 min cardio
Day 6 - 30-40 mins interval cardio

Since I am often working on a tight budget, I like to stick to a few key supplements on top of my daily vitamins
I like supplements, but I think it is important to remember that supplements don't do the work for you... they just help take the hard work you are already doing and help show a little more of your efforts :)
Protein Shakes - Dymatize Fusion 7 (cookies and cream) for morning and bedtime shakes. Optimum Nutrition Hydrowhey (chocolate or vanilla) for post-workout shakes.
Dymatize Micronized Glutamine - Add to post-workout shakes
Morning vitmains - Multi-vitamin, B-complex, vitamin C, calcium/vitamin D, echinacea
MRM Smartblend (EFAs and CLA), Green Tea Extract - Take 2-3 times per day

The last couple weeks have been crazy hectic for me, but I'm still in the transformation game! We had a family pet pass away, I've had several tests and papers for school, plus an interview to prepare for (was hired for a summer job!)....
