Background
When I Started: Apr 2007
HOW I STARTED:
As you get older the weight just sordove "crepes" up on you... One day I just looked down at the scale and said "no more its gotta go"! I was over 150lbs. I immeditaley joined LA Weightloss and lost 35 pounds. That took me about 6 months to do. My passion has always been to weight lift, I had never even lifted a weight before but I always looked at all the muscle magazines and dreamed about having muscles. In April of 2007 I joined the YMCA and started taking some classes. I always looked at the weights and wanted to do them but wasn't sure what to do so I hired a trainer to work with me once or twice a week. We workout for about 6 months but not at the level I wanted to. My trainer had no idea how serious I was about weightlifting. My goal is to be in a magazine :) Finally she realized "hey this girl is serious"! I told her I wanted to do more, to lift heavier! I secretely wanted to compete sometime but I never told anyone. So in March 2008 I went to the Arnold Classic and all I can say is I AM HOOKED! I have never been so motivated in my life! I just want to show women in their 40's you CAN do this, you CAN change your body. I have never played any type of sport, never exercised, can't even do a cartwheel LOL But doing a competition in 2008 is my goal!
WHY I LOVE IT:
I love how I feel and I love how my body looks! Especially having a 6 pack!

Posted in Training : Dec 28, 2010 9:44pmFinally got to the gym 2day! We had a snow storm and I missed 3 workouts! I think I was having withdrawals lol I absolutley look forward to working out everyday (cept Sunday and leg day) :) It's crazy how it can consume your life, or mine anyways.... I'm constantly watching what I eat, planning my next workout, thinking thinking thinking fitness ... Sometimes I think I need to enjoy life a little more.... Back on track
Posted in Training : Dec 28, 2010 9:44pmGoodness I've gotta get back on track... My eats have been so crappy the past 2 weekends...guess I'm only human lol Why does food taste so friggen good? Oh well Im done... I like how I feel without junk 100xs better! So my game face is back on:) It will be easy cause I'm use to eating plain boring food lol no biggie! I eat every 2 1/2 hours so I eat quite a bit....think I will stick to lots of egg whites this week till I get this few extra pounds off lol I like to boil them, mix with mustard and sometimes pickle relish (no sugar added kind) thats pretty...
