I've always been kinda worked out but it wasn't until I saw my first fitness competition that I realized what I could accomplish with serious training. That's what started me lifting weights.
Why I Love It:
I love working out, I feel better and it's a great stress reliever. And as my body image has improved, my confidence has also increased, I don't feel nearly as self-conscious about how I look anymore.
How I Stay Motivated:
I apply the same dedication I have for dancing to working out, I challenge myself to get better every time I'm in the gym. I'm motivated that someday I'll be able to show my older brothers they can't pick on their little sister anymore.
BB Accomplishments:
When I started, I couldn't even lift the bar, now I can lift the bar and then some- it's nice to have a little strength for a change.

I want to be fit and healthy and have a body that just looks good in just about anything (or not). I want to get stronger and leaner, my goal is to be buff and beautiful. I've always had a hard time putting on any weight so this will be a big challenge for me. Eventually I would like to compete, in either figure or fitness or maybe even both.
I'm currently working out 4-5 days a week. I lift weights in the morning, 2 body parts a day. It's already difficult for me to gain muscle, I find that if I don't lift heavy most of the time (4-5 sets 6-10 reps) I start to lose muscle. I work my abs 2-3 times a week. I've cut back on my...

Oh girl...good luck making the team! That would be awesome!! Yes I do crossfit!! I also train my clients with various levels of crossfit style workouts!
Hey Girl! My daughter has done ballet, jazz and tap. She shines at ballet but loves the jazz more! She also gets to choreograph the dance moves for her schools plays!! The crossfit is totally brutal! And those girls ROCK! I think as a dancer though you would want to stay a bit leaner than the crossfit chicks right?
your hella flexable i used to be able to put my leg over my head but i was way younger and if i did that know i would probly need to go to the hospital
