How I Started:
I was at my heaviest weight after having my son 9 years ago. I weighed 230lbs. About 5 yrs ago, I decided to get motivated and get back to looking and feeling good. I've always been interested in weight lifting and aerobic training. I had lost 75lbs after my first pregnancy, so even though I knew doing it a second time was going to be harder, I was determined. Currently, I am about 25lbs away from my goal. I recently found out I have a hypothyroid condition, but I am not going to let that stop me! I am here to find others that share the same interests and challenges that I have, and to finally get my dream body.
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel good and that I've accomplished something.
How I Stay Motivated:
By seeing results and feeling results.
BB Accomplishments:
I have lost major poundage a couple of times now, which I believe are great accomplishments. Now, it's time to step it up a notch.
This is me at 170lbs. I work out like crazy, but I can't seem to lose any more weight and get any definition. I am hoping my group of gal pals can help me!!

Goal (Long):
By June 1st, 2010, I want to do the following:
-Lose 25-30 lbs
-Decrease bf to 16-18%
-Have muscle definition for the first time ever
-Have noticable muscle tone for the first time
-Fit into a size 8-10
-Have more strength and flexibility
-Be able to run 2 miles for the first time ever
-Find a way to get rid of the flab (loose skin)
-Banish my trouble zones for good

I'm good. My workouts are great. I just have not been consistant with the diet. I have probably been too obsessive about it. I just need to keep it simple and stick to the pinciples of clean eating. I believe that when I can live the clean eating lifestyle my body will transform successfully. I give into cravings at night when tired or stressed (need to quit that). You will do reach your goals, just keep it up!! have a good day
I've actually been doing great with my eating. The saying stands true, you can exercise a lot but if you don't eat right you won't see results. I hate exercising but I know that its needed too.
I just read your post in our group about getting bloated from your protein powder? Maybe you should try a different kind or at least make sure you're drinking enough water (1gal). I have problems with bloating ALL THE TIME. I'm going to try dandilion root like gemma suggested.

Hey girl - Well... I'm doing the psychotic plan from SteveP78. And damn, it's kicking my butt.. and the meal plan along with it is so bomb too. Already down like 3 pounds in less than 2 weeks, and I'm eating A LOT. I also need to drop my bf just a little bit more!
