I was a chuncky kid that was never that interested in sports. I got my first gym membership at a hard core gym where I grew up called Upstairs Gym. The guys there (mostly power lifters) took me under their wing and showed me the basics of weight lifting.
Why I Love It:
I like the way it makes me feel. The pump after a workout is always good, and its a nice distraction from the rest of my day.
How I Stay Motivated:
I HAVE to have a workout partner. I'm no good about keeping myself disciplined, but if I know my partner's there then I always get to the gym.
BB Accomplishments:
None, I really need to clean up my diet and tone up a lot!

So first post, so I'm just going to lay some things out in this one. I'm a deployed Soldier in Iraq, which is a double edged sword for my goal of building lean mass... I have plenty of time to work out, and a decent gym here on my camp, I'm not allowed to drink alcohol anyway so one less thing...
