When I Started:
Feb, 2008
How I Started:
Tired of seeing other people reach their dreams of getting in shape through blood, sweat and tears, while I sat on my widening ass doing nothing about it. I figured if they could do it, than I certainly could to.
Why I Love It:
I love the rush, the energy I feel, and the results that I'm seeing. Being told I look great, and looking in the mirror and liking what I see.
How I Stay Motivated:
People of this website, fitness magazines, reading about competitions, success stories, losing inches.

To achieve my goals of living life to its fullest and eating to live, not living to eat.
Goal (Long):
I have long thought of changing my body but I've had trouble with motivation. A little over a month ago, I decided to change my bad eating habits and started a 6 day/wk training schedule. I have 3 boys aged 11, 8, and 4yrs, husband, and full time job which sometimes makes it very difficult to find time for me.
I was working out the other day when my 11yr old son noticed my abs and said, "holy crap, you have a 6 pack". Felt so good to hear. I'm not lean enough yet to truly see them and still need more definition on the lower abs but they are there to feel and coming out to the eye. I think...
We got 20+ inches of snow this weekend. Got Tris, Shoulders, chest, legs, back, and abs workout while shoveling for 7 hours over the span of the weekend...LOL!!! Hope all is well with you. Have a Wonderful Christmas!! Cheers, Bryan
Lisa,
Wishing you and yours a happy holiday season, blessed with good health and prosperity in the New Year.
Working out thru holidays so I can enjoy...
Peace and Happiness,
Bryan
So happy to hear things are good. Mat leave hey... Well put your feet up and relax. You'll be needing the energy when you get back to the gym not less to keep up with the new born.
Training is going well, diet is questionable, motivation is average. Getting ready for the holidays!! How are things with you? Have a great Turkey day!! Cheers, Bryan
Lisa, I'm back in the gym also and diet starts now... LOL... to gain lean muscle mass between seasons. How training going? Looking forward to Turkey day and Xmas!! Have a wonderful week!! Cheers, Bryan
Thank you so much :)! Yes, I feel much better and much healthier. I actually have energy now and don't feel like I'm just barely getting through the day.
Sorry you had to work.. :( Our final match this weekend was grueling. Our Pack (240+ lbs guys) crushed their pack, however their backs (150 - 220 lbs) out ran our backs scoring 3 un-answered tries. We had a great post party barbeque and drained 2 kegs with the other teams. Trick or treating later that night. Have a wonderful week!! Cheers, Bryan
Have a Happy Halloween weekend!! Candy... Candy... Candy!!! Just kidding... a carmel apple will do...LOL!! Last Rugby match this weekend...bitter sweet!! I get my Saturdays back also... now what to do??
Cheers, Bryan
