growing up I was a little on the heavy side. with my dad being a weight lifter my mother being in great shape and my sister a tri athlete, I felt I was kind of the outcast. I was working at safeway until I went across the street to the gym where my father attended and talked with the manager for a while. I told him that I was sick of being fat and that I want to look like that guy( which was a local bodybuilder). He said that it's a long road and takes many years of hard training and sacifices to look like that. Are you willing to do that? Ever since then I've pushed my self to the max and even with set backs I feel I have made good gains but have much much longer to go.
Why I Love It:
This is my sport. I've tried it all and this is my favorite sport by all because it's not a team efforted. I played football in high school and rode the bench all year. My team ended up winning NCS championship and I remember some people came up to me and said good job and I thought to my self I didn't do anything. With bodybuilding as my body changes which it did drasticlly( I just don't have any old photos now), people are amazed of the gains I've got from this sport. When I started I just wanted to lose 25 pounds and get my arms bigger but now its a 180 degree switch. I want to look like the guys on the cover of bodybuilding magazines and will train as hard as I can and as long as I can to reach my goals.
How I Stay Motivated:
It's easy for me to stay motivated, even through months of training with little to no gains to show for them, in the long run I will be the best I can possibly be.
BB Accomplishments:
went from 217 pounds 26% bf to the leanest i've every been 168 with pictures will be up shortly I just look to small(skinny)which at first I wanted but then realized I needed to put on some size.
