It seems like my weight was going up 10 pounds per decade. At 41, I weighed 171 pounds and was miserable with myself and my body. I didn't want to weigh 181 by my 50th birthday, so I got moving again!
Why I Love It:
My energy is through the roof and I love seeing the beginnings of my muscle definition. I feel like an athlete again!
How I Stay Motivated:
My trainers keep me motivated, and I want to be a good role model for my daughter.
BB Accomplishments:
Turning fat into 8 lbs of muscle and enjoying running again.

I'd like to weigh in at 135 by the Cap City Half Marathon on May 1, 2010.
Goal (Long):
I began seriously working out again in March of 2009. I weighed in at 171 lbs. at 36.8% body fat. Since then, I've lost only 4 pounds on the scale, but I've gained 8 pounds of muscle. My trainers are Craig and Anthony at BEAT Personal Training in Bexley, OH. My goals are to get serious about my diet, workout with my trainers 4 days a week, run intervals on two of my off days, Get down to 135 and around 20% body fat. Who knows where we'll go from there!
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 30 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
20%

I just completed 9 miles on my treadmill... a new distance record for me! Treadmill running is so much easier than outdoors, so we'll see if I can translate that once the weather warms up. It's currently in the 20s.
Feel a bit nauseous, so am drinking my BCAAs & protein powder to try...
Thank you for the add. Good luck on your Half-Marathon. My wife and I are getting ready to start training for our's. Big challenge. I know you can do it. Keep us posted on your progress and results.
