How I Started:
Until recently I was a very normal girl when it came to excercise, Im not an athelete, dont have a fitness background and would just fit in excercise when I could by doing my Tae Boe videos once a week or so!
My weight always fluctuated and I would always find some stupid diet(atkins,slim fast etc etc) to do which would always lead to further depression about the way I looked cos it never made me look any better. I started running in 2006 when I entered a 5km run for charity and found I really enjoyed the training/running in preparation for it.In the 6weeks I was training I lost half a stone and loved the way I felt after(revitalised)so just kept doing it after the charity race. running is now my excercise of choice - and I run on average 3 days a week for about 25 - 40mins at a time; depending on how I feel. A lazy week would be just twice week! Anyway...
I Have always wanted a fitness figure physique(for years - like the contest models in those magazines!) and after losing a stone(14lbs) earlier this year from regular running and cutting out junk from my lifestyle I feel Im now ready to take the next step to transforming my body inside and out - and this time for GOOD, rather than just a few months before I get bored and move on to the next fad!
*I would love to be an inspiration to other everyday normal women out there like me. We can do anything if we put our minds to it!
Why I Love It:
I feel so much better about myself after Iv worked out - more confident, sexier etc etc. For me its a personal thing, impressing others is irrelevant!
Im also amazed at how your body can completely transform by incorporating weights. After trawling through bodyspace members profiles Im now excited that I actually dont have to ever be overweight and frumpy at any point in my future, EVEN AFTER having children If I choose! ha ha! ;o)
How I Stay Motivated:
My vanity and health keeps me motivated - when I say that I mean I like to look good to myself with or without clothes on and the thought of being overweight, unhealthy and frumpy is unnatractive and is one of my worst nightmares, so my 'vanity' gets me running and working out in those times when I really dont want to lol!
Also I have some health problems whereby maintaining a healthier,cleaner lifestyle can only but have a positive effect on my future wellbeing.

2010? Why not fall 2009?! Girl, I'm sure u will rock the stage. Success is 50% hard work, 50% attitude/confidence. Be sure to post pix and keep me in the loop... *smile*
