I first started lifting in HS (not saying when that was !) as something fun to do and improve performance in other sports .. well, time got away from me in college and beyond and so did the weights until recently - started back after Baby#1 was born, took a break with #2, and now back at it for the past 3 years.
Why I Love It:
I love feeling strong (even though I am still working on BEING strong) and I love where it gets me !
How I Stay Motivated:
Surfing BB.com (of course) and reading about all the inspiring people here who have worked SO hard !!
I am SOOO lame about getting here ... ok, no more of that !! I am GOING to do better ..... Luckily, my workouts are not slacking and my eats are good ... gonna get better, though !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG - I discovered a new class - like Cross-Fit ... kicked my butt ... going back for...
4 more days of big eating for me then the fat assault begins for my goal of a fitness shoot by my 40th birthday in late January. I will no doubt be edgy and crabby start Friday so I am trying to be nice for the next for days! LMAO! How are you Lizzie?

Hey Lizzie! I think I'm getting the legs better...I'm really trying, that's for sure! How are things in your neck? I have a leg workout on the schedule today! Trying to do more single leg stuff.
Beach weather wasn't too bad. I had a meeting nearby on Sat, so our "beach trip" was really about an hour on Sunday.....LOL. Water was COLD. Dipped my toes in once.....that was the extent of our playing in the surf. :D
