I started lifting in high school for football and other sports but never got into it, I would just rush through it so I could go home. I then got into some dangerous stuff early in college and decided I'm not gonna live like this anymore and needed something to keep me out of trouble. So I hit the gym and now you cant keep me out of the gym.
Why I Love It:
It is the best stress reliever that every person in America needs to be using. Its one of very few healthy addictions.
How I Stay Motivated:
I figure I have to get up every morning and look at myself in mirror. My motto is the second you become content with yourself you immediately start heading in wrong direction. Always surround yourself with people who are doing it bigger and better.
What mistakes did you make when you first started working out?
lifting heavy as possible neglecting form and had no idea on a proper diet.

What is the one tip you would give somebody who is just getting started?
Nothing happens overnight. 80% of the battle is what you eat and how you conduct your life outside of the gym to see the results you want to see in the gym.

Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
A torn rotator cuff. I still currently have it and just saving enough money to pay for the surgery deductible. it sucks

it's just so easy to give in. hey what i do i go to the grocery store and look in fat people's carts! that helps me realize what i don't need in my buggy and why they are the way they are. i want to go up and start empying thier basket and fill it with salads :) haha
yeah I think if I order some yummy flavored protein I can get my sweet kick from that instead of cake and candies :) The variety pack of the Gold Standard protein seems to have good flavors
NO WAY! although if there was some here... i'm not sure I could say no... lol actually having dinner with a friend tonight... I'll try not to be give in. Stick to salad or grilled chicken :)
that would be convienent, i was just going to get up and do some cardio, i did well this weekend but there was this cake... and ice cream that was forced upon me :( and so i ate it
it was an overall good weekend, hit the gym hard yesterday but this morning we had this cold snap and the bed was so nice and warm. but tommorow it's on :)
