Overall Goal: Awesome power lifting competition! Continue making steady gains in bench, squat and deadlift and compete in the powerlifting competition in Lafayette in January!
... I've gained and lost 226 POUNDS! There have been other womens profiles up here that have given me the courage to come out with my own transformation. What I have not mentioned is that I have been the biggest weight gainer I know with my pregnancies. My first - I gained 54 lbs. The second I went from 148 and delivered at 220. With my last son, a little over three years ago, I made my Dr quit weighing me a month from delivery -I was at 242 by then. I'll be adding pics so people can really see. So I know how hard it is to lose the weight when you've gotten pretty heavy.
Why I Love It:
Weight lifting has been the only thing that has allowed me to drop all that weight and have an okay shape. Its made me feel strong and powerful. It gives me a place to constantly challenge myself and feel in total control.
How I Stay Motivated:
Motivation is easy most of the time - lifting saves my sanity. When it has felt like my world is collapsing around me hitting the weights makes it all go away for that hour. Recharges me.
BB Accomplishments:
Losing all my baby wieght and more after three kids. Having the opportunity to train and motivate others.

Goal (Long):
To be in the best shape of my life. I'm really working hard at adding more muscle. In a year from now I'd like to be 10 lbs heavier (muscle), in a job that I love and living a life that if isnt stress free - at least then less stressful. Thats going to take some big changes on my part. Perhaps even another move but I am committed to living differently then I have the last 18 months.
Just wanted to announce the birth of my first grandbaby - A little girl - Taliah LaLone. She's come way too early (24 weeks) but I know she will be strong and that she'll make it. I cant wait to hold her once she's allowed out of her incubator. I'm so very proud of my son and I know he will be...
