When I Started: Apr, 2007
How I Started: It was kind of a "It's now or never" moment. I always wanted to compete, but kept putting it off. I really didn't get serious about weight training and maintaining a clean diet until April. That's when I decided to compete in a June 07 show.
Why I Love It: It is a huge stress reliever for me. I love the way I look and I'm pretty happy about prolonging my life. Not only will I live longer, but I will be more mobile/agile than most people of the same age.
How I Stay Motivated: Read, read, read, read, read. I read a lot of books and magazines on training and competition. Usually it just takes seeing others compete and I'm ready to tear the gym apart.

Goals:
Main Goal: Compete
Goal (Short): God... it's been a while since I've been on... my grandfather passed away a little while ago so I've been moping for a few months. But now I'm back, I have a new trainer and a new diet program. You'll see me out there!!!
Goal (Long): I want to get in to figure competing and win!! I need to put on some muscle. I think 5 lbs by next competition season seems reasonable considering how petite I am. Though I am trying for 10... we'll see if I can cruise in at a lean 108 lbs! I definitely want to gain size in my calves, thighs and biceps. I want to narrow my waist and shred even more my already shredded abs. I want to gain more definition to my thighs and back. I absolutely love my chest, traps, and shoulders at this point. I hope to meet all of my goals by January. I am looking to compete in spring and summer and want to give myself enough time to get my body fat down for competition. I really want to get bigger.
Weight Goal: I want to GAIN 10 lb
Bodyfat Goal: 12%

I tried out a new leg workout yesterday and I really enjoyed it. I hate doing legs so I think I finally found the right program. I got it off of BB.com so we'll see how it works for me. The only "draw back" was that the gym was packed last night so I couldn't get a bar or heavy...
