You probably already have this in your diet but I eat really clean for 6 days and then have an "earned" day where I have all the stuff I have been craving and then next day back to strict clean eating. Having that 1 day always seems to enable me to know that I can hold out until then.
Linds- I'm 5'4" and right now not sure what I weigh. I'll tell ya on Sunday. My goal is a size 4 (US), or 20% bf, or 130-140lbs...I am pretty muscular and so at 140lbs, size 4 clothing fits like a glove.
7 lbs...I'm so jealous. Can I just tell you that I didn't weigh...? I'm scared to. Everytime I do- I get all bummed out. This week WILL be better though...the first of many GOOD weeks.
Thanks for the reply! I love dresses that hides some of the wings... :) Had a bad week last week, but think this week will be a little better! How about yourself? Goal jeans? Gotta get me some of those!
Is it best to do weights first then cardio or does it make a difference?
My problem with food is a am a really fussy eater. Unfortunately i don't like cottage cheese, bananas, fish & most fruit doesn't agree with my stomach. Today is a new day & week so I am going to stick to it to a 'T' this week & hopefully will reap the benefits.
I'd really appreciate some advice on changing my training though!
WOW! Good for you. How very exciting. You are well on your way to reaching your goal. I know what you mean...if I don't get to the gym I feel very cranky. I got in 2 hrs today. An hr., 20 min @ the gym & 45 min at home. Burned about 1000 cals. I don't even think I ate 1000 cals today...I know, I know. I need to eat. But I feel SO much better now that I got it back on @ the gym. Congrats on this wk. Awesome job. I am proud of you!! :)
Hi Lindsey.
7 lbs is a week is great! Well done. I am a bit disheartened at the mo. I don't feel like my training is challenging me anymore & i am really missing running. The diet is going ok, however I have stayed the same weight this week which is a bit annoying. I am going to sit down tonight & look into my foods a little more.
Keep up the good work! x
Hi Lindsey
My diet is going ok, however I have come back from the gym today & my right ankle has swollen so bad that I can't see my ankle bone! I think I'll just go swimming over the next few days & see how it goes - it's quite painful.
How your diet & training going?
Well my bodyfat% goal is 18% by Dec. 31st...after that I'll set a new one. Ultimately to get to 14% and stay there. Weight (now-Dec. 31st) 130lbs. If I end up at higher than 130lbs, I at least want to be able to fit into my "Divorce era" clothes which are a size 4.
Sugar free stuff is ok, but try and use it in moderation. Interesting thing is that on the keto diet I've quickly found my tastes shifting less to sweet and enjoying more of the spices and seasonings I use instead. Stick with it a while and some things will almost taste too sweet when you start back on them.
You know I spent four years of lifting and absolutely just waisted my time cause of improrper nutrition. Lifting is easy...the monitoring the fork is the hardest from the standpoint of getting the right balance, too much or not enough. Its hard.
I love your profile pic though. I am trying to reshape my body as well. You def. have made some really nice gains and your hard work hasn't gone unoticed.
OMG Lindsey...I can't even tell you how bad I've been....horrible. I'll weigh and do measurements tomorrow anyways so we can be consistent and on the same "schedule" with stats. Happy Friday, my dear!!!
