I had been a dancer all through high school and college, but went through phases where I would lift weights at the gym. I've always been a little overwieght and had a strong, but soft look until I lost 15 pounds last year by consistently working out and counting calories. I've always felt that my body would respond well to wieght lifting and I've managed to achieve a look that I'm very pleased with. Now I'm onto a achieve a life-long dream - competing in women's figure!
Why I Love It:
I love the results! I love the way my arms have an actual shape now! The added confidence has really improved my overall happiness and success in life.
How I Stay Motivated:
I'm now motivated by my goal to compete in July/August of '08. I re-motivate when I'm feeling low by checking out this site, reading muscle magazines, and setting small gym goals for myself.
BB Accomplishments:
15 pounds wieght loss and the added muscle to my arms, shoulders, chest, and abs.
to eating "un-clean"! Never! I ditched my diet, the gym, and all healthy eating last week and by Sunday I had never felt worse! I was craving clean food like crazy. Sometimes I feel silly obsessing over food and spending hours at the gym with no time to clean my house or do laundry...
How is the most gorgeous blossing flower in Bodybuilding doing?... Hope you had a great weekend..it is Monday, receive an adrenaline rush hug...Take Care, have a great day!
I feel you on the whole cardio thing. Sometimes im just like man i ran, and kick my ass on the eliptical and treadmill and nothing to show for it. Whatever...just aslong as you dont give up. keep it up.
i just answered my last question by reading ur profile on how u got started. Dancers always have kick ass legs. Trust me ur upper body is great also. Keep in touch and good luck with ur comp.
