After having spent a few years using nothing but the elliptical, i ventured out into the rest of the gym. Started lifting weights and loved the effect it had on my body. Along the way I encountered a few people who have steered my training into the right direction. I went on to become certified as a trainer and a nutritionist (currently working on a BS in Biochemistry).
Why I Love It:
Because it replaced (literally) ALL of my unhealthy habits. I learned motivation, I learned discipline, I learned how to turn my upside-down life into a routine, I learned a lot about a lot of things... and I made some friends along the way!
How I Stay Motivated:
My current motivation: The fact that I have 2 super-expensive posing suits that I have not worn!
BB Accomplishments:
Not falling on stage!

How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?

How many reps per set do you usually do? Why?
Depends on body part and workout, but generally I do high reps for legs (15-30), lower reps for upper body (10-15), although I'll occasionally do heavier workouts with less reps... I like mixing things up... it all depends on the mood I'm in when I walk into the gymDepends on body part and workout, but generally I do high reps for legs (15-30), lower reps for upper body (10-15), although I'll occasionally do heavier workouts with less reps...
