How I Started:
I went about working out in the wrong way.. it started back in 2002 when I lost the baby and was completely depressed. I barely ate and ran my heart out everyday.. I lost almost 30 pounds and was a sickly 110. I met the girl who is now my best friend at the gym in 2003 and she got me started lifting weights with her. I started to see changes and feel great. I left for active duty and she moved away for a career change.. sad. Although I remained active I still didnt/ dont feel that I am in the best shape that I can be. In the last few months I have decided to try to change some things with the hopes of someday making it to the stage.. 28 June 08 is the goal date
Why I Love It:
It is an addiction.. it makes me feel SO good. I love to see and feel the way that my body reacts to certain things and changes. Every day and every workout holds something new and different and I love that.
How I Stay Motivated:
My boyfriend keeps me on my feet. He kicks my butt (in the gym) everyday.

Goal (Long):
I want to compete in the 2009 Mike Francois Classic. This will be my first competition. I am really nervous already, silly I know. I was training to compete in 2005 but got in a really bad car accident and had to quit lifting until I healed from all of the damage.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 20 lb

I'm glad that you are doing better girlie, I know it's hard to lose a loved one...but just remember they are in a better place now and w/out pain :)

Hey great on the butt kickin;) I seriously owned my workout yesterday, some reason i just really went to town! It felt great after i had a mediocur?(sp? lol i can't spell that word) but a less than Ideal Chest workout even though they are sore i just didn't feel that iwas on game. So yesterday was GREAT! My biceps are getting bigger and my triceps are lookin Fierce on the pulldowns!:)

Woohoo an update:) Yes I have been seriously kicking some butt at the gym, mostly my own but I think the dumbbells were crying too :) haha

YOU need to get your eyes checked ;-) Doin' great down here......for some reason, I've been havin' killer workouts and sometimes twice a day. Not sure what's gotten into me but I'm diggin' it. My lil'est is with me now, she had a "tummy ache" at school, so it's dad to the rescue. Don't work too hard tonight ;-)
