How I Started:
2 years ago I decided that I ultimately wanted to transform my body from thin and average to muscular and cut. I started going to the gym and picking up weights occasionally, but I was doing it all wrong. I got my father to start going with me to the gym. It wasn't til almost a year ago that I really became dedicated to lifting weights. However just this past summer is when I have seen the most results. In June 2009 I was chubby, and by late september I had noticeable definition. My gym had put up a before and after pic of me on the wall.
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel good. I get pumped, and I guess it helps build my confidence. The constant improvements I see with my body are motivating. Muscles look better than just being skinny.

Goal (Long):
One day I'd love to be an IFBB Pro Figure Competitor. And be a personal trainer and Registered dietician. I'd love to be an inspriation to people and help people better their lifestyles :] Oh ya and havin my pics in a couple magazines would totally be neat, too :]

A couple months ago I sent in my entry form to do the NPC Excalibur show on December 5th of this year. I was totally excited because I would be doing my very first figure show at age 19! Unfortunately, a little over 2 weeks ago, I had a minor mishap occur when I landed wrong on my left foot....
Aww I hope you get well soon :) Haha can't wait to see that cast lol. Anyways what are you working out on Monday? Also let me know! We might be able to lift together! Haha well talk to you later!

Hey what's up!!! How are you holding up these days?? Fill me in :) Anyways I just got back from the UCLA game. Was a good one! But so freaking hot in the sun!!! Hey Kimberly, I saw ur pink cast & I darn near 'cried'. I can so relate. I placed 6th in Vegas @ NPC 2006 USA Fig Competition. 6 wks later was N.American. 2 days before the show, I TORE my left ACL! BUT back on stage 7 mos. later (3rd place regional show. '07 N.Am only 10 mos post-op! See my prog pix & blog, "Thrill of Victory, Agony of Defeat" *smile*
Aww so they casted up your foot. That isn't good :(. Sorry! How long will you be out? I bet that won't stop you from going to the gym lol. I am doing good tho. Had a great leg workout last night. Finally pushing up some decent numbers :)
Oh for sure! I will definitely amp up the workouts and eat more! Yeah that is my goal. Not saying I do that much now lol. But soon I will be :) Anyways keep up the good work in the gym. You look amazing. I am about to head to bed! Have a goodnite!!!
I hope your so right! I want my legs to develop and can't wait for that day to wake up with leg muscles haha. We shall see what happens! I have a goal to squat 225 lbs for a full set in 3 months! But what kind of weight can you squat with?
Ugh I am definitely jealous my upper body trumps my lower :(. I don't even want to give you current stats of what I do on my legs. Hopefully soon I can be doing some decent weight!
