When I Started:
How I Started:
I quit smoking around August 2006 and started going to the gym. Now it is a habit that I love. Working out is the best thing that has ever happened to me.
Why I Love It:
It gives me a sense of accomplishment. I feel a lot more confident about myself. Also, I was tired of being small and since starting around June of 2006 I have gained about 7-8 pounds.
How I Stay Motivated:
Looking in the mirror. Never will be satisfied. I want to be about 195-200 pounds and very lean.
Thanks for the reply. Well, the stats helps to understand the progress: 16" arms for a 5'7" guy is way more difficult than for a 6'3" as the later would have that already by its size. You will reach your goal of 17" easier and faster then me - age is against muscular developement. Take care.
hey mate. how r u going? looking great. am wanting to find some1 to keep in touch with as a net training partner. interested? u got msn/yahoo msg or something like that? cheers, john.
Well it's hard to gain, but with your smoking cessation it will definatley happen. I smoked when I went into the Navy years ago. It's a good time to restore the air capacity. I believe it takes 7 years. Good luck. Don't work too hard!
