How I Started:
I have always been "sporty" but I've also always eaten cr@p. I really enjoy working out, but I have never gotten a hot bod from it because I have always eaten so badly ... just couldn't seem to get my head around eating right. I am one of those pathetic types who KNOWS what to do - and can hypocritically tell others what to do - but I don't do it myself.
Why I Love It:
I love the way a good workout makes me feel - I love the high! I love feeling strong and confident.
How I Stay Motivated:
I'm still working that out. My motivation wanes on occassions.
I have allowed life to get in the way of my good intentions. I want a body I can be proud of. I want to see my abdominal muscles ... I've never met them. I want to feel confident and sexy. I want to have lots of energy - I am sick of feeling tired all the time.
Okay, so I have been absent for the last couple of weeks. Well, I've been busy!! Okay, you got me. I am making excuses.
So let me explain ... not that it makes any difference. I've had some sudden work developments and it required me to be away from home for a few days. And, for about a week...
I'm doing Body-For-Life and I'm going to follow the program ... at least in the early stages, while I get my fitness back!
I'm not interested in a quick-fix program, I want a program that I can sustain for the rest of my life.

Thanks, I'm probably gonna add to that here soon. I struggle with my eating too! The training is going good, I'm still pumped from my workout this morning, busted out a 815 leg press... Great feeling! Gotta reach 1000lbs now!
I'm sure its not nearly as bad as you think it is. Were all our own worst critics. I'm sure you'll get great comments from all the members here anyways. How is the training going btw?
