How I Started:
In 1997 when I met my now husband I got the courage to join a gym. We married in 98 and since then, we've been on and off working out. Now I am desperate and loosing my patience and want to see results!
Why I Love It:
It gives me a feeling of accomplishment and I love the pup I get from working out plus the energy it gives me.
How I Stay Motivated:
Something that happened on Friday 10/23 at work is a new way of motivation for me. I will use this to make a difference and show the skeptics that what I've talked about works.

"My Goal in Life Is To Be As Good a Person My Dogs Already Think I Am"
I want to RADICALLY transform my body...lose weight while gaining muscle and strength.
Goal (Long):
I'd like get down between 120-130 lbs and get my body fat to 20 while toning up, getting stronger, having more endurance and stamina. By next year (Jan/Feb) I would like to be able to run for 1-2 miles instead of the walk/run I've been doing. By Nov 2010 I'd like to run a 5K. Would like to bench 100 lbs. Would LOVE to tone my legs because I've NEVER worn a bathing suit.
But, at this point I just need to write. This week has been ****ty to say the least. Wednesday had to get out of my cycling class because my lower back was killing me, was in there for about 25 minutes and when I got out I walked for about 15 min. Thursday I won't up with a real bad...
the unobtainable goal! I have set those many times myself but have learned to pick ones that I can achieve and then the small goals achieved lead to bigger and better goals being achieved.
Liliana- What great courage to put yourself out there! Damn girl, I admire you! This is a tough place to not be the "perfect" body on and let everyone know it. You go girl, I know you can do it!
after 2 weeks of being on hiatus, its back to the gym and this time, no breaks other than 1-2 day rests. Its amazing that after being away for this long, I now see that in fact I had made changes, small but noticeable. Can't allow myself to get distracted like that if I ever want to achieve the body I want.
