I had shoulder surgery, an Open Distal Clavicle Resection on August 15th 2006, and I'd like to incorporate physical fitness into my rehabilitation program.
I also couldn't stand the fact that I'd sometimes get tired just playing on the floor with my son for five minutes. They deserve better than that from their father.
Why I Love It:
I was an avid weight lifter when I was younger. I loved the feeling of walking away from a really intense workout and even enjoyed the pain the next morning. I love intensity and weightlifting always did that for me. I wanted to get that feeling back.
How I Stay Motivated:
I don't want my sons being "the kids with the fat dad."
BB Accomplishments:
Started feeling better about myself and more confident. That's an accomplishment, isn't it?

The starting point..
Just woke up, realized I haven't put a pic on BodySpace since November, so I took this bad picture in the mirror with my phone.
I don't have a good digital camera anymore.
Well getting below 200 ended up being easier than I thought. I just need to make sure I stay there! Now I'm shooting for 170 pounds and 10% bf before June 2009.
Well I'd went off my diet over the last month or so. I'm not going to make any excuses, life happens and I just need to suck it up. I'm just happy that I managed to maintain my weight instead of blowing up and getting back over 200 pounds.
So Monday I decided to get back on my 3000 calorie...
Monday through Thursday I do two workouts. My AM workout usually consists 100 Push-ups in some combination of sets/reps. Lately I've just done four sets of 25. I alternate this with crunches in sets of 100-200 depending on how I'm feeling. On Tuesday and Saturday mornings I also do one...
Hey bro, how is everything working for you so far? It has been awhile since I spoke to you! It looks like you are really kicking the hello out of the fat, any advices for your big fat friend here?
LOL!!!
I see you kicked ass in the competition...I am so proud of you, tears are coming down my eyes!
No worries, the therapy bill will be paid in full...will even volunteer to go with you!
How is everything?
you know, ppl make cardio out to be so horrible but it doesn;t have to be. You can really just make a commitment not do do the treadmill...hahaa. Pick something else I love cardio because I pick cardio that is fun or challenging. Like the SemperFit video. I mean not everyone would be able to do that..but you could do hip-hop abs or swimming or whatever Keep your chin up you are doing so good and I know that adding cardio would just help you burn so good!
