I started lifting back in high school as a freshman for wrestling. After I graduated, I quit going to the gym. Now I am back at it, trying to get back in the shape I was in high school.
Why I Love It:
Its a great stress reliever and it gives me more energy.
I have never really been one to watch what I eat, but if I'm going to continue to progress I realize that I need to start eating healthy. Starting next week, I am going on the Mens Health "Abs Diet". I hope to get my 6 pack back and maybe even an 8 pack. I'll keep you posted.
lifting goals....not really. I want to try to hit the 150lbs on bench press by the end of this year. But my main concern is just to add lean muscle, i want to be around 75-80 kgs by the end of this year, so yeah hitting the gym as much as i can and eating alot too
Hey man thx for the comments, its not as good as some other ppl around here but im slowly getting there hehe :P
sry for the delay its a very long time i havent been here, just came online to see whats going on....so you working out?
I appreciate the compliment. As you can tell, by doing everything natural, it takes a lot of patience and time (7 years), but it is worth it when you get there! I would be happy to answer any questions you may have!
i change the order around all the time, but I do decline sit ups, then go straight to leg raises with a 5 lb weight between my feet. Say i was doing a chest and back day, I would do a chest workout, back workout, decline sit ups, leg raises, chest, back, decline sit ups, leg raises, ect. That works best for me, but remember, every body is different!
Thanks for the comment bro! Well after almost a year with little to no gains from doing 3 sets of 10 with everything, I started trying new things, and found that 5 sets of 5 for bigger muscle groups and 4 sets of 7 for the smaller muscle group exercises works best for me, increasing weight every set, and always going until failure the last set. Hope that helps a out a little bit. Any more questions feel free to ask! Have a good one
Thanks, I am trying to make some gains over the summer while I have some free time, and I only have the camera on my mac to take pictures... We'll see if I make much progress by the time fall rolls around. How is your lifting going?
Hey I really appreciate that. Just injured the shoulder last week so I'm a lil pissed about that. I'm tryna get to your level of lean right now. About 2 more lbs to go! Then I'm goin back to adding lean muscle the right way. Have a great week, God bless.
