How I Started:
I began working out with a female bodybuilder friend of mine in 2007 but life got the best of me and didn't leave room for gym time. I occasionally would go through 2008 but not like I wanted to. I am FINALLY back into full swing, getting to the gym at LEAST 4-5 days per week!
Why I Love It:
Working out gives me a great sense of accomplishment and makes me feel better about myself- boosts my confidence and self-worth.
How I Stay Motivated:
The people on this site are motivation enough, but I keep myself motivated through progress and knowing that with all of my hard work, I can FINALLY have the body that I have only dreamed of in the past- I want to look and feel my best..gain that "confidence" I hear so much about! haha
BB Accomplishments:
I have already lost some inches in my hips and my strength is increasing regularly- great feeling!

Goal (Long):
I have been the chubby girl my whole life and after 23 years I want to be the "hot girl"! I would like to lose 20-25 lbs but as long as I lose the chubby parts and tone up, I don't care what the scale says. I just want to look great and feel even better!
I just have to shout out a HUGE, "THANK YOU" to everyone on this site that has been so supportive and complimentary....you have no idea what an enormous boost it is for my confidence and helps me want to push myself past my limits. I have been hitting the gym alone for quite awhile...
so i went to the park today and did sprints, jogged and palyed b-ball, then after that hit the gym for weight training... I got to step my game up, find ways to make this cardio thing happen!!! I have all this muscle, I just need it to show... how was you're workout today?

i found it easy to cook all my food for 4-5 days on sunday then box em all up so i have no excuse not to eat right !!!!!!! good luck yo
You can never be fully satisfied with anything than life will get boring and that is no good. My "huge" status is coming along pretty good. I put 365lbs today on the decline bench. When r u gonna finish ur sleeve?
yes, still pushing toward my goals. My diet is good, not perfect, but good.And I've been hitting the weights more and results have been coming much faster.
Well I have no choice but to suck it up & hit the gym early. Evenings are not an option. So.......in order to prevent becoming a fat old guy, it's up-and-at'em for 5am workouts. BTW, your legs look great. Nothing wrong w/ German thighs. Mine are part German too. :D
Hi Alissa, great pose! Upper body is looking good, especially pecs; you have some nice seperation going. Keep working hard and intense, once you cut that bf down to the teens there will be some MAJOR details showing all over, I can just tell!:)
you can run with out a partner a little beter if you got a decent ipod selection,, i suggest somehting angry,, im a angry runner,, think about all the people that i would loss to catch and whip their ass,, only that they ae about 10 feet ahead and i must keep running,,,to me its all about what drives you,, my list of ass beatings is pretty long and will keep me going at least for 5miles--ish,, what kind of music do you listen too????
