Started to live a healthier lifestyle in October 2005, but didn't actually start incorporating fitness into the equation until December 2005. Reached my goal weight on March 27, 2007. Been at or below ever since.
Why I Love It:
It is my sanity and therapy in life.
How I Stay Motivated:
I look at all I have accomplished thus far and see only wonderful things to come and that drives me.
BB Accomplishments:
I feel I have good definition and muscle tone. But there is ALWAYS room for improvement.

This was me at 230+ lbs. June 2001 at my nieces HS grad party. I was absolutely miserable and if this wasn't part of a group family pic, would have never been taken. I hated taking pics back then. But I love finding them now!

She had a nice body to begin with. But she wasn't satisfied with that. She went for the gold and got it. She is an amazing woman. I aspire to be as ripped as her some day!

I basically follow the USDA food pyramid. I eat mostly lean protein, soy, fruits, veggies, whole grains, etc.. www.mypyramid.gov

What are your secrets for making healthy food taste great?
Adding flavors. Spicy, savory, sweet (with little to no sugar). You can add salt free or low salt seasonings to foods or herbs and spices. Lemon, lime juice, hot sauce, red pepper flakes. How many reps per set do you usually do? Why?
12. I started out at 8 and then 10 and just progressed eventually up to 12.
I have been doing a specific body part/area per day and mixing it up with 30 - 60 mins of cardio. Monday is arms day, Tuesday is legs, Wednesday is delts, traps, rhomboids and lats, Thursday is core and Friday is circuit training. I find that when I work my legs or arms 2 days in a row it...
