I think that having a breakdown in life can definitely motivate someone to make a change for the better. Ive always been a tomboy active in sports when I was in my teen. When I was pregnant with my 8 year old son, I balloned from 160 to 200lbs. After giving birth, I kept the weight for about a year and I was going thru a divorce at the time and I was unhealthy and depressed. I met a wonderful guy after my divorce who was a bodybuilder and he was super supportive and basically motivated me to lose the weight. I went from 185 to 155 within a year just working out and learning to eat right. But so much had happened withing that time and fast forward to 4 years later, I had moved to another state with my son and started eating bad and just not working out and had a not so successful relationship. Last month I decided to do it right thiws time and work on my physical image. I wanted to look good and feel good and so here I am. I have a goal to work toward and Im thankful to have found this website to help motivate me to reach my goals. I started my workout 2 weeks ago and Im excited to see the final results
Why I Love It:
I think that working out itself is a meditation. It makes me feel good inside and look good on the outside. I love the adrenaline I get just breaking a sweat and of course, I want to look like the fitness models:-).
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivate just by looking at fitness magazines and how great the models look. And just for myself, I want to make a huge change. I want this year to be a good year for me, and enjoy the summer and I know how great of an impact it does to your self esteem.
My goal is to be at 145 by the end of April '08. I been working out for 2 weeks now going to my third. I hired a trainer and I been eating right for the first time. I want to not only lose the weight, but to gain muscles and look lean and healthy and not skinny.
OMG! Sooo I been contemplating on posting my hideous before photo for the whole world to see but after countless debates and teeth grinding, I am finally gonna do it! And if I could change one persons weight goal for the better then its all worth it:-). My transformation didnt happen overnight!...
Happy Holidays!...;-)...How are you? Lookin' good babygirl...I hope you achieve your goals and desires now and in 2010! Keep up the great work and keep in touch ok?
God Bless!

Awesome! I wouldn't get as wrapped up around the type of carbs (so long as their complex) but the *TIMING* of your consumption to ignite maximum metabolic efficiency: Carb load *IMMEDIATELY* after fasting (sleeping 6-8 hours) and taper that off within 6 hours to ZERO carb consumption but ramp up Protien intake ... train your GI tract to burn, burn, burn!
Hey friends:
Im lookng for a serious workout partner. I didnt do my show in oct for personal reason, but im training again for one in march so hopefully Im hoping to find someone in the same area that interested. Its soo much easier to have a workout buddy:-). Let me know..
